Stunning Camel Estuary view from Greens of PadstowHere at Greens we know it’s the little things that make a big difference, and we like to think that we aren’t just any restaurant in Cornwall. We are constantly looking for ways we can innovate, improve and offer our customers the best food, the best service and the best time spent at our little eatery overlooking the estuary. Our amazing staff go above and beyond to make sure you’ll have a memorable meal at Greens of Padstow, and we love welcoming back the same faces year after year. Below, you’ll find a few of our favourite quirks that make us just that little bit different to all the other delicious restaurants that you’ll find in Padstow.

Arguably the best view in town

Positioned on the hillside overlooking the stunning Camel Estuary and it’s tributaries, the view from Greens never gets old. From everyones favourite coffee stop you’ll see the ferry to-ing and fro-ing between Rock and Padstow, the fishermen on their boats leaving to catch the fresh fish that supply the restaurants of the town, and the colourful sailing dinghies zipping up and down the river. You can spot Little Petherick Creek, gaze up the river to Wadebridge, pick out the winding track of the Camel Trail and spy Rock and porthilly. Whether it’s a crystal calm morning on the water, the sun is setting pink and gold behind us or there’s a storm brewing on the horizon, the estuary is always a sight to behold – best enjoyed with a glass of something cold from our sun-trap terrace, or with a cup of steaming tea on the rainy days.

Mini Golf – AND it’s dog friendly!

Are there many other places that offer fun-dining alongside fine-dining? Treat yourself to French toast topped with berry compote before challenging your friends and family on our mini golf course, designed to offer the most beautiful views over the estuary from every hole, interspersed with plants, flowers and wildlife. The course is open whatever the weather, so a little rain won’t spoil your fun, and best of all – it’s dog friendly, so if you’re popping in for a coffee mid-dog walk, and you fancy a round of golf, you and your furry friends can enjoy the course together.

The best way to reach us is by ferry or bike

You don’t drive your car or catch the bus to Greens of Padstow. We are delightfully secluded just up from the bustling harbour as you head out towards the coast path, and the best way to get to us is by foot, bike or ferry. Park at the top of town and take a wander through the winding, white washed streets dotted with flowers and colourful doors, cycle the Camel Trail all the way to our steps, or you can even catch the ferry from Rock, where Greens will be in sight the second you set foot on land. We have full disabled access and accommodate for children’s push chairs too.

Happy Hour means Cocktails

There is no better place to enjoy a cocktail than on our sunny terrace, and every evening during the summer, all our cocktails are 2 for £13! If you like your gin, our talented team can whip you up a Pink Lady bursting with Tanqueray gin, raspberry liqueur, sugar and lemon juice, or a zingy Marmajito made with Salcombe gin from south Devon, marmalade, lemon and elderflower tonic. If vodka is more your thing we mix classic Espresso Martini’s from Absolut vanilla vodka, Kahlua and hand roasted Cornish espresso, and we also offer a quirky twist on a classic; our Rhubarb Moscow Mule – Black Cow vodka, rhubarb liqueur, lime juice and ginger beer. One of our favourites is a simple White Rye consisting of Bacardi rum, Cointreau, lime and sugar, or for a fresh, summery vibe you can’t beat a Hugo Spritz – Elderflower liqueur, mint, lime and prosecco.

Whether you’re after delicious dining, a bit of a fun on the Mini Golf course, a place to have coffee and cake with man’s best friend or you simply want to drink in the glorious views whilst sampling our cocktail menu – we know you’ll find a little slice of what you fancy at Greens of Padstow.
